STRESS : QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Question: What is stress?
Answer: Stress is the resultant of placing
large amounts of desire or expectations upon ourselves. It is when we create
an image of the self and we try and develop to an image created
by other people as well. So we create the image of the self as to
where we should be and often we then compare it with the reality
of where we are.
This creates opposing forces within ourselves as the mind aspires
to match the created image with our current situation. Stress can
be further magnified by worrying about other people thinking excessively
about others and creating negative situations which are far removed
from likely outcome of a situation.
Stress levels can also be increased through repeatdly remembering a negative event which therefore forces us to relive the negative emotions that are associated with the past event.
